Born of innovation: the Helexio® Line project ArcelorMittal Building Solutions’ Helexio® Line project focuses on developing solar energy technologies to support global climate goals. The project is supported by the European Union’s Innovation and Industrialization Fund, a program that provides extensive funding for selected initiatives aimed at developing breakthroughs in low-carbon technologies, such as hydrogen, renewable heating, biofuels, steel, and solar energy. As a result, a fully automated 6,000 m² facility has been installed in Contrisson, in the Grand Est region of France. Helioroof® represents a major milestone in the Helexio® Line project. As a pioneer in the field of rooftop solar panels, Helioroof® offers a way to generate energy efficiently and with low carbon emissions for buildings. The installation of Helioroof® contributes to a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to standard insulated solar roofs, making a significant positive difference in the carbon footprint of buildings.
